So You Think You Can Dance is back and "bigger and better than ever before!"
The Fox reality dance competition returns for its tenth (!) season tonight and host Cat Deeley promises that the series still has some new moves!
We caught up with Deeley on the red carpet at Fox's upfront presentation in New York City, where she dished on judge Mary Murphy's involvement in a "raunchy" new dance craze! Plus, she reveals how many winners there will be this season...
"It's kind of insane," Deeley admits of starting the reality series' tenth season. "Never in our wildest dreams did we think we'd still be going after all this time, but it's down to the people at home that watch the show that are keeping us on there!"
As for the premiere ep, Deeley teases that there's a new dance move everyone will be talking about called the "Detroit hip roll," which she says is, "quite raunchy and Mary gets very involved. I think they bleeped out certain bits and muddled other bits!"
Though season nine crowned two winners, one male and one female, Deeley says SYTYCD will probably one have one champ this year. "I think there's just going to be one winner ‘cause it was a bit like, ‘You won…and you've won!' she explains. "But I think the runner-up will probably get a cash prize, like we've done in previous seasons. I think that's the better way of doing it."
