When stars get snapped on the street without makeup it used to make tabloid covers. Now while it occasionally still grabs headlines, seeing a fresh-faced celebrity is no longer shocking.
Why? More celebrities are hitting the red carpet with minimal makeup, and some are skipping it all together.
Case in point: In the last few weeks, three big name stars have opted to go au naturel from the neck up at huge Hollywood events. While promoting The Great Gatsby, Carey Mulligan posed with no eye shadow, no blush and no lip tint. The only noticeable makeup was a few layers of mascara.
That very same night, Jennifer Lawrence attended the film's afterparty and looked flawless without a drop of makeup.
Also, spotted in the buff? Jessica Biel. The actress attended hubby Justin Timberlake's concert in casual duds and just a huge grin on her face.
As fun as it is to see a statement lip or a cat eye on the carpet, there's no denying how refreshing it is to see bare-faced Hollywood beauties.
