Fox's pilot-pickup mania continues!
After officially picking up four dramas, the network has picked up four comedy pilots, in addition to Seth MacFarlane's Dads, which already has a six-episode order.
Andy Samberg's buzzed-about buddy-cop comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine has been greenlit, as well as projects starring Law & Order: SVU fan favorite Christopher Meloni and a romantic comedy that pairs Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel. (Surely Parenthood's Lauren Graham has an opinion about that one!)
Here's a quick rundown:
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Samberg and Last Resort's Andre Braugher star as a buddy-cop duo in this sitcom from Parks and Recreation's Mike Schur and Dan Goor. The series centers on a diverse group of detectives at a New York precinct.
Enlisted: From Cougar Town executive producer Kevin Biegel, the series centers on three very different brothers working together in the Army at a small base in Florida. Geoff Stults stars.
Surviving Jack: Based on Justin Halpern's book I Suck at Girls, the series, which stars Meloni and Alex Kapp Horner, is a story about a boy becoming a man, and a man becoming a father, in a time before "coming of age" was something you could Google.
Us and Them: Parenthood fan favorite Ritter and Gilmore Girls' Bledel star as a couple trying to make a long-distance relationship work, with the support (or lack thereof) of their friends and family. The series is based on the BBC series Gavin & Stacey.

Fox has already renewed comedies The Mindy Project, New Girl and Raising Hope for next season.
