Reese Witherspoon has got Michael Bublé firmly in her corner.
Bublé stopped by Chelsea Lately Tuesday, where he chatted glowingly about his pal turned duet partner. However, it seems that getting Witherspoon to join him in the recording studio wasn't quite a breeze, despite her formidable vocal chops.
"It wasn't that easy," he tells Chelsea Handler, who readily joked, "No, she's very difficult!"
"You know, I think that she had said before she was really nervous," Bublé recalled about Witherspoon's initial hesitation.
He added, however, that he had been smitten with the actress ever since he saw her Oscar-winning turn in Walk the Line, in which she did her own singing while playing June Carter Cash.
"And that's where I fell in love," the Canadian singer explained, adding, "She's great."
Bublé also couldn't help but take dig at his buddy Blake Shelton, whom he described as "truly one of those guys that you want him to be that cool, but he's even cooler than that."
At one point, Bublé launched into a cheeky impersonation of Shelton while describing how the two hung out together while watching Bublé's Christmas special on TV.
"Gimme my drink back, man," a boozy Bublé-as-Shelton quipped, complete with Southern accent.
Good one, Michael. Looks like someone's got a shot at a backup career doing stand-up...
