Selena Gomez certainly isn't sitting at home crying over her split from Justin Bieber.

"I'm good. I'm really good," Gomez exclusively told me last night at Soho House during a dinner celebrating her Nylon magazine cover. "I've been recording, having a lot of fun with my girlfriends, having a good time."

And while she's keeping mum on revealing too many details about her new music (she's already recorded 16 songs!), Gomez did say, "I'm having a lot of fun expressing everything that I'm feeling."

Could an answer to the Biebs' "Nothing Like Us" be in the works?

"I've been telling people I'm definitely a little bit more sassy now," she said. "I'm a little bit more mouthy."

Sounds good to us!

And the former Disney darling is looking forward to finally seeing the release of Spring Breakers, her sex- and drug-filled indie flick costarring James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine.

"I think people are used to seeing me in a certain way," she said. "I think it will be a little shocking for people but in a good way. The movie as a whole is a lot to take in, and I've definitely expressed that to my younger fans."

But don't worry—Gomez only goes so far in the movie. The more hardcore stuff was reserved for her costars.

"The girls are older so they can experience things and have experienced a lot more than I have, so it was new for me," she said.

"But," she added with a big smile, "I had a good time."

Among the bold-faced names at last night's Coach-sponsored dinner were Benson, Ashley Tisdale, Jaime King and Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka.
