A rep for Nadya Suleman is shooting down allegations that the single mother of 14 not only blew off her ongoing stint in rehab for a job filming a video spoof in Tennessee, but has also failed to care for her brood, prompting California's Child Protective Services to schedule a visit to her house.
Suleman's rep tells E! News that, in fact, CPS already checked in on Wednesday in response to an anonymous call the agency received last Friday and found the kids are doing just fine.
"[CPS officials] were welcomed into the home and they commented how immaculate the home was," Octomom's rep, Gina Rodriguez, tells E! News. "They came as a result of a false report that came into them last Friday. They saw the kids are all well taken care of, eating, bathing and attending school daily."
She added: "There are no pill bottles in the home. The reports of the children having access to the pills is ridiculous. CPS saw there were no pills in the home. None of the children have ever had access to the Xanax. There is no abuse going on with any of the children."
Rodriguez contends that the whole brouhaha stems from allegations filed by a disgruntled former babysitter Gina Bryson, whom Nadya has filed a temporary restraining order against.
"We made CPS aware of the ongoing harassment by the former babysitter and showed them the TRO," the rep added.
Of particular significance to Protective Services was the Xanax claim since the 37-year-old Suleman checked into rehab last month to be treated for anxiety, stress and exhaustion.
But Rodriguez said the treatment is going as planned and the agency has been in communication with her and "supportive."
Additionally, she acknowledged the ex-adult film star did travel to Tennessee for a video shoot on Monday, but was accompanied by a counselor from Chapman Treatment center and flew back the next day and went right back into rehab.
