Brooke Burke-Charvet has a lot more to think about than who gets kicked off Dancing With the Stars next week.

The 41-year-old reality show cohost and mom of four is battling thyroid cancer, she revealed in a home video posted Thursday on ModernMom's YouTube channel. "I need to have thyroid surgery and a thyroidectomy, which means I'm going to have a nice, big scar right here across my neck," she said.

But our former E! colleague, whose cancer was discovered during a routine physical, is keeping a good attitude about her health scare. "I'm just going to make a positive out of this negative thing," she said. "I'm going to be a really good patient, and I'm going to do everything that I need to do. I've booked my surgery."

"I'm good," she added. "I'm ready to deal with it, and I'm going to be fine. I feel really, really strong. Doctors say this is a 'good' kind of cancer to have.…My doctor did tell me this is a happily ever after ending kind of thing."

Tom Bergeron tweeted "Big Hugs" to his DWTS cohost, and countless fans poured out their love for Brooke, who won't miss any work.

"I was scared to get on twitter and hear what people are saying.....now I can breathe easy," she tweeted. "Thank you for the support...I'm feeling the love today from friends, family, #DWTS, tweeties, fans. You warm my heart."

She's certainly got our support, love and prayers, too.
