Jenelle Evans' new year hasn't been the happiest so far.
A kidney infection landed the Teen Mom 2 star in the hospital last night, another in what has been a series of unfortunate developments for the single mom—some legal, some health-related.
Her manager confirmed to E! News that a doctor prescribed antibiotics to treat the ailment and sent Evans home. She's feeling much better today, the rep added.
"Hospitals suck," Evans tweeted late Tuesday.

Demi Moore had quite the scare last night.
A female friend was at Moore's home when the actress started "shaking" and otherwise "acting like she was suffering from a seizure," a source familiar with the Los Angeles Fire Department's incident report tells E! News.
The friend then called 911 and, about 30 minutes after paramedics arrived, they determined that Moore should be taken to the hospital.
