You like the Olympics! You really, really like the Olympics!

NBC's coverage of the 2012 London Games was the most-watched television event in U.S.history, accoeding to the network. As gold medal-winning swimmer Ryan Lochte would say: Jeah, jeah, jeah!

How big? Some 219 million Americans watched the Games on the networks of NBCUniversal, surpassing the record set by the 2008 Beijing Olympics (215 million).

"We are proud to have been part of the last two weeks," he continued, "And we couldn't ask for a better start to our long run of Olympic Games through 2020."
