Surprise! U2 has a new Boy. The Irish quartet debuted a song from the oft-delayed but hotly anticipated Broadway musical extravaganza Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark in concert in Portugal over the weekend.

Written by Bono and the Edge, "Boy Falls From the Sky" showcases that epic U2 sound (and also recalls their contribution to the big screen Batman Forever with "Hold Me, Kiss Me, Thrill Me, Kill Me").

Directed by Julie Taymor (Broadway's The Lion King), Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark begins previews Nov. 14 at the Foxwoods Theatre and opens Dec. 21.
