It's that time of year. You know, the time to give. Here are a couple of charity endeavors I think many of you will be interested in:
This year's Variety's Power of Youth auction includes New Moon posters signed by the entire cast, a private dance lesson from Harry Shum Jr. of Glee, two tickets to the So You Think You Can Dance finale, four tickets to the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards and a walk-on role on How I Met Your Mother. Proceeds benefit the Starlight Children's Foundation and afterschool program LA's Best.
And for all you I-can't-wait-to-see-Avatar fans, you can bid on tickets to the premieres in Los Angeles and London in a Charitybuzz auction hosted by director James Cameron and his wife Suzy.
Or how about a private screening with Cameron in his personal screening room?
This auction does have non-Avatar goodies too, like a meet-and-greet with Hugh Jackman on his next movie set and a walk-on role in X-Men and Lethal Weapon producers Laura and Richard Donner's next flick. Proceeds benefit Muse Elementary, a non-profit elementary school in Los Angeles.
