In Eureka, America's smartest secret town, anything can happen. When Eureka relocates to San Diego for Comic-Con, wit happens.

The panelists revealed all manner of tantalizing tidbits about the remaining 10 episodes of the season, which just resumed this month.

The best news? Syfy's announcement that the series has been picked up for a fourth season! The better news? The way the good tidings were shared...

"The birthing episode is definitely memorable," said Paglia—especially since Salli was eight and a half months pregnant during its filming. Salli added, "Whenever Colin touched my stomach the baby would kick." See, someone knows Jack and Allison are destined to be together!

After delivering the good tidings about Syfy's commitment for another 22-episode season, Senior VP Mark Stern also gave the thumbs-up for a musical episode. While Salli loves to sing, Erica Cerra (Jo Lupo) is less enthusiastic—surprisingly, given her recent knockout Cafe Diem piano-bar performance with Fargo (Neil Grayston).

Speaking of Fargo, or of Fargo speaking, did you know he continues to voice the role of Sarah, the Carters' talking house? It was a bit disconcerting seeing him use his Sarah voice several times during the panel.

As far as that news? Well, the panel seemed pretty lonely without Eureka's star, Colin Ferguson. He has a way better excuse for missing the Con than you: He's in Bulgaria. Filming. A Movie. Lake Placid 3, as a matter of fact.

Poor Colin. At the urging of Syfy's Stern, moderator Josh Gates called the actor on speaker phone so that thousands of cheering fans could awaken him—at 2 a.m. Bulgaria time. After exchanging pleasantries, Josh got down to business: "Colin," he said, "there were so many unanswered questions at the end of Lake Placid and Lake Placid 2." Colin responded that the third installment will provide the answers with "many, many crocodiles."

Finally, when Josh asked Colin if he wished to share any words of wisdom or news about Bulgaria, the actor instead asked for news from the panel: "Any word on a 'Is there a fourth-season pickup?'" he asked.

That's when Mark Stern jumped onstage to respond with an official yes. Before hanging up, the audience sang "Happy Birthday" to the actor, who just celebrated the milestone last week.

Bet he'll do even more celebrating when he wakes up (again) in the Bulgarian morning. Look out, crocodiles!
