Eureka returns—finally!—to Syfy with 10 new episodes on July 10.

Breaching the security of Global Dynamics, star Colin Ferguson (Eureka Sheriff Jack Carter) and executive producer and cocreator Jaime Paglia answered some your burning Q's about America's smartest (and most secretive) small town.

Mariska in Muncie, Ind.: I am so excited for 10 all-new episodes of Eureka! Who will be the new big bad?
Says exec producer Paglia, "We wanted it to be something different, and to tie into a historical aspect of our characters and the town on a personal level. So instead of it being necessarily a person, it's a thing. We don't know what it is. The question is, is it from out there? Is it man-made? But it's coming toward Eureka, and we have to deal with it. And that allows us to bring in some new characters."

Kady via Twitter: What's happening with Carter and Allison?

Lindsey in Glasgow, Ky.: Do you have any romantic scoop on Eureka?
Cupid is shooting his arrows all over Eureka! "We wanted to bring in a romantic quality to the show, to these characters," says Paglia, "that we've never really been able to before. We wanted Fargo to get a girlfriend—which he's finally done." Yay! "We wanted to step up the relationship with Jo and Zane, and challenge it: Is it really a short-term thing, or is it something more? And also for Zoe and her boyfriend, Lucas, as she's coming to an age now where they're talking about college and whether they're going to go to the same place. [These last 10 episodes] gave us a chance to deepen the relationships, those connections, and go to some places we haven't before."

Larisa in Lebanon, Tenn.: Will the slayer of true love, aka Nathan Stark, be back on Eureka this season?
Definitely not, says Paglia. Or at least, "Nathan will not be back in these last 10 episodes." (Hmmm...season four?) However, if you're a fan of Ed Quinn (and who isn't), you will be able to see him on HBO's True Blood—as a vampire named Stan who hangs with Dallas sheriff Godric. The role, says Paglia, "couldn't be more appropriate for a guy who plays Stark."

Cathy in Mobile, Ala.: Will we see any new faces around the tables at Café Diem this season on Eureka?
Aside from Billy Campbell, the amazingly enigmatic star of The 4400 who stops by for one episode we'll also see "some old characters," says Paglia. "I don't want to spoil it, but I can tell you there are two characters who have been a major part of our series. That was a lot of fun for all of us, to be able to bring back some of the people we've been missing for a while." Carter's sister, Lexie [Ever Carradine], will also be back for a few episodes.

Last but not least, don't forget that Eureka is moving from Tuesday to Friday nights at 9. (A new series, Warehouse 13, follows at 10 p.m.) Just remember to tune in beginning July 10 after you've done your regular #FollowFriday tweets!
