There's no doubt that Hollywood really brought the A-game when it came to Halloween costumes this year!
We saw lots of Harley Quinn and Joker duos as well as a mix of Stranger Things groups that were both super timely this year. But there were also several really unique ensembles that came out of no where and still took the spooky holiday by storm (Kylie Jenner, we're looking at you).
So with that being said, we decided to rank some of the best (and worst) celeb looks in a list of Hollywood's 2016 Halloween costume superlatives. Check them out below:
Best Couple: Beyoncé and Jay Z as Barbie and Ken
There were a lot of great celebrity couples this year, but Bey and Jay really went all out with their awesome Barbie and Ken costumes. From their poses to the boxes to the ensembles, it was totally A+ work!
Most Creative: Heidi Klum and the Heidi Clones
OK, so even though the supermodel wasn't technically in costume, this clone idea was pure genius. Who thinks of that?!
Best Tribute: Eniko Hart and Friends as TLC
No scrubs indeed! Kevin Hart's wife absolutely killed it with her TLC costume. The group looks exactly like the famous '90s R&B girl band.
Best Family Collaboration: Neil Patrick Harris and Fam as Old Hollywood Stars
From Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake to Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, there were a lot of adorable family moments this year. However, NPH and his husband David Burtka transformed their kids into old Hollywood stars, and it was too cute for us to handle!
Best Cohesive Group: Beyoncé, Tina Knowles and Blue Ivy as Salt N Peppa
Yes, Bey already won one category, and yes, this could technically be considered a "family" costume, but who cares. The threesome knocked their Salt N Peppa look out of the park!
Best Kid Costume: Chris Brown's Daughter as Selena
Breezy's daughter, Royalty, gave us all the feels when she dressed up as the late Selena.
Biggest Disappointment: Gigi Hadid as a Boy Scout
While the idea is cute, it felt a little lazy, and we just couldn't help but expect more out of the supermodel. In her defense, she did take to Instagram to say she had to pull an outfit together right after work. Better luck next year!
Sexiest: Coco's Referee
As always, Coco took the cake for her super sexy referee costume that came complete with ample cleavage and even more leg! We're sure Ice T double-approved.
Most Offensive: Hilary Duff and Jason Walsh
Every year, at least one celebrity receives criticism for his or her costume choice. This year, it happened to fall on the actress and her fitness beau's Pilgrim and Native American costume. They took to social media to apologize immediately following the backlash and admitted it was a poor choice.
Best 2016 Pop Culture Reference: Shonda Rhimes as Beyoncé's "Formation"
The esteemed showrunner made waves with her perfect remake of Bey's "Formation" outfit from the singer's Lemonade visual album.
Scariest: Teyana Taylor as a Botched Zombie
She rocked some pretty awesome costumes all weekend long, but we had to give Teyana credit for this look, which definitely spooked the you-know-what out of us!
Best Makeup and Prosthetic: Colton Haynes as Miss Piggy
Every year, Haynes has succeeded in making our mouths drop with his over-the-top costumes, and this year he did it again! The actor was unrecognizable in his boob-y Miss Piggy costume.
Funniest: Kelly Clarkson as Buddy the Elf
Come on with this! We couldn't stop giggling at how perfectly the singer pulled off Buddy from Elf.
Best Election-Themed: Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump
The couple absolutely dominated this appropriately-timed costume. Katy is a big supporter of Hillary, so it makes sense she'd go all out for her on Halloween! Meanwhile, her man dressed up as a troll version of Trump, complete with a "Make America Great Again" hat.
Best Overall: Kylie Jenner and Christina Aguilera in "Dirrty"
And the biggest award of the night goes to...Kylie Jenner! From the hair to the makeup, the ensemble and the chin piercing, the reality star truly pulled off Xtina's "Dirrty" music video look perfectly.
MVP: Adele
A very special tip of the hat goes out to the "Hello" singer for her both comical and spot-on portrayal of Jim Carrey's role in The Mask.
