Candy Spelling doesn't treat all her grandkids equally—but that's OK.
Turns out that her son Randy Spelling won't let the family matriarch spoil his two daughters over the holidays.
"I'm not allowed," Candy told me at the opening of The Color Purple on Broadway (she's a producer of the show). "One or two gifts is all and it can't be over the top."
Randy, a former child actor and reality star, is now a life coach and lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife Leah and their daughters Sage, 4, and Lotus, 2.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott's children—Liam, 8, Stella, 7, Hattie, 4, and three-year-old Finn—are a different story. "Her kids like a lot of gifts," Candy said.
Grandma Candy also gushed about Tori's daughters recent modeling debut for Modern Queen Kids. "Aren't they cute?" she cooed. "I love them. I love my grandsons but I'm partial to my granddaughters."
However, she doesn't want to see the grandkids going into show business. Candy said, "I didn't want my kids to go into the business."
