We haven't heard a peep from Iggy Azalea's Twitter since Nov. 1, but that all changed Tuesday night.

The "Fancy" rapper took to the social media platform to respond to Erykah Badu's diss from the Soul Train Awards Sunday. But what started as a simple tweet addressing Badu's jab quickly turned into a rant in which Azalea addressed the delay in her own music and the health of one of her horses.

"We are days from 2016, but i came online today and saw its still cool to try and discredit my 2014 accomplishments. LOL," she tweeted. "F--king hell. Seems exhausting. Anyway - Ive been enjoying the holiday season and i hope you all have too."

The feud began when Badu used her opening monologue to address issues she has with the Soul Train Awards, the main one being the fact that rap is "banned" from being honored. While on stage she pretended to call artists she wanted to invite to the awards show, including Azalea.

"Uh yes? Who is this? Iggy Azalea?" she said. "Yeah, hey. Oh, no, no, no, no, you can come, 'cause what you doin' is definitely not rap."

The Internet exploded with memes of Azalea's potential facial expression upon hearing the joke, but she didn't address it until last night. Finally returning to social media, Azalea continued to give information to her fans and followers.

"I dont really know what im doing with my music release; but im finished (except for getting the features recorded)," she continued. "Right now i live in america and am very close to the Def Jam team; but im actually signed out of the UK. Things are complicated."

Azalea added that she's "ready" with her music but has to "restructure some things to work smoother and better..." She noted that the changes to her record would probably take a few weeks, so fans should sit tight for a little while longer.

Taking advantage of her short return to social media, the "Black Widow" performer also revealed that one of her horses might have Lyme disease. "So im a little heart broken but still hopeful about things," she started to end her rant. "Defender is doing fine and has been consoling me. lol."

The Aussie performer's return to Twitter was short-lived. She ended her series of tweets by telling fans she wouldn't be back until 2016 unless she had any major updates to share.
