Ashlee Simpson Ross and husband Evan Ross' new baby may be destined to get into the music business...just like mom and dad!
Ashlee, 30, gave birth to a daughter, her second child and her first with Evan, 26, on Thursday. The baby joins big brother Bronx, 6, whose father is the singer and actress' ex-husband and Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, 36.
"We are overjoyed about the birth of our precious baby girl Jagger Snow Ross," read a message posted on Ashlee and Evan's Instagram pages.
"The couple had their minds set on this name for a long time," a source told E! News exclusively. "They wanted something fun and different."
Bronx had told E! News earlier this year that he hoped to have a little sister.
Ashlee and Evan, also a singer, wed almost a year ago at the estate of Evan's mother, legendary singer Diana Ross, 71, who also officiated the ceremony.
"I've never met a person in my life that makes me feel, you know, so content and supportive of what I'm doing and I'm supportive of what she's doing and two creative people that just want to be creative around each other, it's brilliant," Evan told E! News. "We understand each other and we care about the same things and we look out for each other the same kind of way."
"I love Bronx more than anything, he's the greatest kid in the world and his father is amazing," he added.
Wentz and his girlfriend, Meagan Camper, welcomed their first child together, son Saint Lazslo Wentz, 11 months ago.
"Everybody has a great relationship," Evan said. "We're just all a big family."
