It's the beginning of the end, bitch!

It's been nearly a year since we last saw our badass blue-meth maker, and now it's time to start saying our goodbyes to Walter White (Bryan Cranston), one of the most terrifyingly tremendous characters in television history. On Sunday night, fans will finally be graced with the first of Breaking Bad's final batch of episodes, and trust us when we say that "Bloody Money" was definitely worth the wait.

We've already seen the jaw-dropping and heart-pounding midseason premiere, but rather than just brag about it, we've decided to gift you with five Heisenberg-worthy spoilers to get your even more enthusiastic for the drama's return. (Like that's even possible!) It should go without saying, but there be spoilers ahead!

1. On the Case: Who could forget the look on Hank's (Dean Norris) face when he read the inscription in Walt's copy of Leaves of Grass and slowly but surely started piecing the intricate puzzle together? It was chilling. And when Sunday's episode returns, we'll pick up right where we left off at our seemingly sweet family get-together. And get ready because the newfound anxiety and tension will practically smother you through your TV screen. But if you think Hank is just going to sweep this under the family rug, then you clearly have never seen this high-stakes drama before. Prepare for a trip down memory lane as the DEA chief dives into boxes and boxes of incriminating evidence and some of the show's most iconic moments.

2. Have an A1 Day: We all know that Walter White is an intensely passionate man, but watching him go off on a tangent about organizing air fresheners by scent is not something we want to see the man we love (and fear!) focus his attention on. Although it's a pleasant surprise to see Walt and Skylar (Anna Gunn) working together with genuinely sweet smiles, Heisenberg's hidden past is never too far away. Oh, hey there, Lydia (Laura Fraser)!

3. Back to the Future: Think back with us to a long, long time ago in the season-five premiere when we were gifted with a sneak peek into Walter White's future. We saw him alone in a Denny's, fresh off a cross-country journey from New Hampshire. (Well, at least that's what his driver's license and plates lead us to believe.) With his full head of hair, he was celebrating his 52nd birthday by purchasing a M60 machine gun in the bathroom of the diner.

Sunday's premiere opens with another trip back to the somewhat-near future, as an overly scruffy Walt returns to his Albuquerque home which is now horribly rundown, guarded by chain-link fences and pool-skating hooligans. We don't know how Walt gets to this disheveled point in his life, but we do know that he retrieves something that fans know to be very important that was hidden in the house.

4. Bloody Money: To say that Jesse (Aaron Paul) is distressed in the premiere would be the world's largest understatement. Walt's disheartened partner doesn't even utter his classic "Yeah, bitch!" catchphrase at all in the first episode back. We do however get to see a deceptively sweet conversation between Jesse and Walt, an epic drug-fuelled Star Trek tale and see that Jesse would've made an impressive paperboy back in the day.

5. Tread Lightly: We're not going to reveal too much, but just know that that the final five minutes of the episode will leave you breathless. Three words: Walt. Hank. Showdown.

Don't miss the amazing midseason premiere of Breaking Bad this Sunday, Aug. 11 at 9 p.m. on AMC!
