Jason Derulo has been killing the game lately—he's loving life with his new lady, Daphne Joy; his career is poppin; and he's basically everyone's #fitspo.
He's been keeping us mesmerized by those washboard abs for quite some time now and the 26-year old artist shared his diet and fitness secrets with E! News. So we can finally let you in the routine that helped the "Naked" singer achieve such an impressive physique.
So, what sort of diet regimen does he follow?
"...Celery and water diet."
Don't worry, he was joking (April Fools!), but Derulo does keep a strict, lean diet, filled with proteins and low in carbs.
"It's really just being strict within reason," Derulo advises, "...I was kind of doing just like those crash diets where I was going hard, going hard, going hard. [But] it's easy to fall off and when you fall off, it's kind of hard to get back up. So if you create yourself a reasonable diet...if you want something, you can have it, but within reason, do like an 80/20, 80-percent healthy and 20-percent...don't go too crazy!"
Jason reveals that he takes in a good amount of calories each day to keep up with his demanding workouts—around 3,200-3,300 calories per day.
But he's presumably burning through every one of those, considering he works out a whopping three hours a day!
Derulo is going to need to be in shape to keep up with his schedule for this month—he just released his new single, "If It Ain't Love," which he co-wrote, and he'll be performing at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards alongside the previously announced lineup that includes Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainor and Zayn Malik.
Oh, and he'll be hosting the show too on April 3!
Later this month, Derulo will be continuing his U.S. tour and is also set to perform for CMT Crossroads with Luke Bryan this summer.
But first the iHeart Radio Awards, airing on TNT, TBS, and TruTV on Sunday.
