Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian

Talk about an early morning surprise!

Khloé Kardashian thought she was starting her Wednesday off on the right foot when she traveled to SoulCycle in Beverly Hills for a morning workout.

But things quickly got tense when her ex-husband Lamar Odom appeared after class to meet with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, E! News confirms.

An eyewitness tells TMZ that the former NBA star surprised Khloé when he showed up and demanded to speak with her. When she kept walking away, he reportedly began to raise his voice.

Khloé apparently had no idea how Lamar learned of her location and managed to drive away quickly.

The run-in comes less than a month after the couple's divorce was finalized. Khloé first filed for divorce back in December of 2013 after a little more than four years of marriage.

But in an interview with Women's Health magazine, the September cover girl said that she'll always have a special place in her heart for her ex-husband.

"I love Lamar to death," she said. "He is the love of my life. We had a fantastic marriage. Do I wish he had tried harder? Yes. Do I think that he maybe didn't have the energy to fight because he was fighting so many other things? Yeah."

As for those rumors that she's now dating NBA star James Harden, the 31-year-old remained coy, telling Complex recently that she's just trying to let her "hair down and not worry about things."

When it comes to Lamar, however, he not too long ago seemed to believe there was still an opportunity for more than just a friendship with his ex. Back in May, the athlete was asked by a reporter as to whether or not there's a chance he could get back together with Khloé.

"Of course," he shared before describing KoKo as his "girl." "That's my wife."

New episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians return later this year only on E!
