As the two-year anniversary of Robin Williams' death approaches this Thursday, one family member is choosing to remember the actor in private.

Zelda Williams took to Twitter Sunday afternoon to let fans know that she will be taking a break from social media. Before she does, however, the 27-year-old wanted to express her gratitude for all the fans.

"So, it's that time of year again. I will be taking another break off social media. For those who always ask why, it's so people can memorialize Dad on the anniversary of his death however they wish without me having to feel bombarded by it, or pressured by the expectation put on myself or my family to publicity acknowledge or join in doing so," she explained. "I will always be so grateful for all the love the world had and continues to have for dad, but for obvious reasons, it's sometimes harder to be the sort of surviving public vessel for receiving those sentiments, and one often expected to somehow flawlessly express them back."

She added, "Thus, I'll be excusing myself for a bit. Hearts just need little breaks sometimes!"

For many fans of the beloved actor, it's hard to believe that it will be two years since the Oscar winner was found dead at his home.

In addition, family and strangers alike honored the comedy legend on what would have been his 65th birthday just last month.

Ultimately, Zelda hopes that fans will be able to remember her father in various ways. One of the best ways could just be through charity work.

"Obviously, the world will keep on spinning. This is hardly an important issue, my main point being you should continue to remember Dad however you want! I'll just be doing so privately," she explained. "And if you'd like to celebrate his life by celebrating causes he loved, you need only google, and you'll find wonderful charities like the @ReeveFoundation, @CAFoundation and many more. Tata for now!"
