Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman Finalize Their Divorce

Actress was married to the consultant for three years

Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman are officially divorced.

According to People, the pair finalized their split on Wednesday, less than a month after filing for divorce, which might be one of the quickest settlements ever.

The quickness of the process is likely due to the fact that the former couple never had to appear in court because the filing went uncontested, Page Six reports. They did not fight over assets or custody over their two young daughters, Olive, 3, and Frankie, 2

Meanwhile, Barrymore originally split from Kopelman in March and later filed for divorce in July.

They released a joint statement at the time, saying, "Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family. Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority."

After their split, a source told E! News that the actress and art consultant were facing some troubles in their relationship.

"They are living separately. Over the past few months, things seem to be up and down with the couple," the insider explained. "He has not been involved in her company Flower. They seemed also to not be very close or connected as a couple. Drew never spoke bad about her husband, they just seemed very disconnected."

As for Barrymore, she's been open to speaking out about the split.

In fact, in an interview with Good Housekeeping in April, she said, "I don't think there was one moment when I knew I wanted to spend my life with Will. It was a sweeping, fluid process. It was falling in love with his family, being ready to have a family of my own and thinking if I had a family with this family, it would be really wonderful. Sometimes there's just a time to go for it with a good person."
