Teresa Giudice is back...in front of the cameras!
The 43-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star relays a New Year's greeting in a video posted on the website of the show's cable network, Bravo, on Wednesday, marking her first on-camera appearance since she began a federal prison sentence in January. She was released a week ago, four months early, after serving 11 months behind bars for fraud.
"Hi everyone, I'm back" Teresa says in the 9-second clip, which shows her in front of a Christmas tree. "I just want to wish everyone a happy New Year. It's going to be a great 2016. Love, love, love you all."
Teresa, husband Joe Giudice and their four daughters spent Christmas Eve with her brother Joe Gorga and wife Melissa Gorga, her co-stars, and their three children. Bravo cameras were rolling throughout the evening, E! News had learned. On Monday, Teresa was photographed for the first time since her jail release, leaving a supermarket.
The new year will be bittersweet for the Giudice family; Joe, who was indicted with Teresa, is set to begin a 41-month prison sentence in March.
