Rosie O'Donnell Tweets Cryptic Quote From The Runaway Bunny After Chelsea O'Donnell's "Heartbreaking" Interview

Is Rosie O'Donnell trying to move forward?

After Rosie's rep told E! News that she found daughter Chelsea O'Donnell's interview with The Daily Mail "heartbreaking on every level," it seems the former co-host of The View is trying to heal. Rosie tweeted a cryptic quote from The Runaway Bunny, which is a children's story of a bunny that tells his mother he wants to run away from home, on Wednesday; she has since deleted the tweet.

"I will grow, I will grow, I will grow. I will grow without you. I will feel the sun on my face and I will thrive," Rosie tweeted, as captured by The Daily Mail.

The story ends with the mother bunny telling her son that she will follow him wherever he goes and will be anything he wants her to be.

Her tweet is another response from Rosie to her 18-year-old daughter's interview, in which she criticized her mom for being "two different people" and claimed she had been kicked out.

"She told me to leave and take my dog," Chelsea said. "Rosie said that I was almost 18, and she got all this crap from work, and she didn't want to have to deal with that at home too."

So, Chelsea left with her boyfriend, 25-year-old Steve Sheerer, whom she's still dating. "I find her not genuine a lot of the time," Chelsea explained. "When we'd go out, she was a completely different person in public than at home and I had a hard time with that."

She added, "She has this public persona; she will put this big smile on her face and try to be funny. She would always go up to people and want to hold their babies in public. She had this happy, friendly side to her. Whereas when we were home, even if it was on the same day, she would either just be in her room, not engaging with us or watching documentaries."

Chelsea admitted to struggling with depression and anxiety, which she said began when Rosie and Kelli Carpenter got divorced. "It was very upsetting to me and I think I took it harder than the rest of my siblings," she admitted.

"That's when everything started to go downhill and I got sent away," Chelsea said, referring to the boarding school in Utah she later attended.

But now Chelsea is "happier than she's been in years" and plans to move to Wisconsin with her boyfriend. "I'm pretty normal," Chelsea said.

"I guess now I can just prove to Rosie that I am."
