Teresa Giudice is speaking out from prison.

After going silent on social media for the past five months, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star surprised us all with a special message.

As it turns out, the Bravo star wants her fans to know she appreciates the support more than they know.

"Thank you everyone for all of the cards, letters, and kind words of support," she wrote on Twitter Sunday afternoon. "I love, love, love you all xo T!"

The Bravo's star last tweet was back in December shortly before Christmas when she supported daughter Gia Giudice's girl group called 3KT.

Ever since Teresa began her federal prison sentence in Danbury, Conn., on January 5, E! News has been able to gather information about how the reality star is coping behind bars.

While the circumstances are understandably tough for the mother of four, many insiders say she's doing better than anyone could have expected.

"I think she's going to emerge stronger, more focused," attorney James J. Leonard recently told E! News exclusively. "She's getting back in touch with her faith. She's spending a lot of time praying in there and I think the Teresa that comes out of prison is going to wow people."

And while her official release date isn't until Christmas time, the Fabulicious author already has family and friends on her mind for when she is released.

"I think she's going to take it one day at a time, but her focus is, 'I want to get back to my freedom, I want to get back to my husband, I want to get back to my parents, my children, and then kind of take it as it goes,'" Leonard shared. "…She's dealing with it really well."
