This Mother's Day will be particularly special for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster, who is being treated abroad amid an ongoing battle against Lyme disease.

The 51-year-old former Dutch-American model revealed her plans in an interview with CR Fashion Book, during which she also reminisced about raising her children in Southern California.

"I am currently at a clinic in Germany for treatment, so I will be stopping in Holland on my way home to be with my mom for Mother's Day—something I haven't done in 20 years, so I am really looking forward to having that time with her," Yolanda told the outlet.

The reality star as spoken openly about her battle with chronic Lyme disease, whose symptoms can include fatigue, muscle pains, sleep disturbances and cognitive difficulties. Yolanda has been hospitalized for it before. She recently posted pics of her last hospital visit on her Instagram.

"Your Mommy's arms are always true because she would risk it all for you," she wrote alongside a pic of her and her mother, posted on Sunday, May 3. "#FamilySupport #MyLymeJourney #MothersLove."

Her brother also arrived to be with her by her bedside.

Yolanda revealed on Instagram on Thursday that her recent treatment regimen involved the use of stem cell therapy.

During her hospital stay, Yolanda posted throwback childhood pics of her children, model daughters Gigi Hadid, 20 (pictured with her mother, below), and Bella Hadid, 18, and son Anwar Hadid, 15.

"Giving birth and becoming a mom is the greatest joy and accomplishment in my life; I have never felt that much love for anything," she told CR Fashion Book. "Learning the true meaning of unconditional love was the most powerful experience of it all. I was privileged to give birth to my three extraordinary angels: Gigi, Bella, and Anwar."

Their father is her ex-husband, Mohamed Hadid. He and Yolanda divorced in 2000. She married her current husband, David Foster, in 2011.

"Los Angeles is a pretty tough place to raise humble children for the obvious reasons of excess, so when my marriage ended in 2001, my children and I moved to Montecito to start a new life," Yolanda told CR Fashion Book, referring to an upscale community in central California's wine country. "My son Anwar was only 18 months at that time. Growing up on a farm myself, I really needed to reconnect and wanted the same for my children: a life in a small community, with animals, that was connected to the Earth."

Before she married David, the family moved to Malibu, California. Yolanda told CR Fashion Book that her children "were fortunate to have a grounded life in a public school system with lots of sports and healthy activities."

"I am far from perfect, but I have been consistent and have given them the best I have to give," she said. "I believe that I have lived my life by example and invested the time to create a strong and old-fashioned foundation for them. My unconditional love for each of their individual needs and 24/7 support keeps us connected as a very strong family unit. It's a forever commitment that I take very seriously and thrive on."
