Watch: What Chrissy Teigen Thinks of Kanye West's Grammys Rant

Chrissy Teigen was just as entertained as many of us were when Kanye West appeared to try to re-enact his 2009 "I'm let you finish" speech at the 2015 Grammys, drawing laughs from scores of celebrity attendees and other viewers

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit supermodel and wife of crooner John Legend was also as shocked when the hip-hop star later signaled in a backstage interview with E! News that when he rushed the stage before Beck accepted the award for Album of the Year, it was not a joke at all.

"When he ran up there, it was like, so well-executed, it was like, it was funny, I thought it was silly. I didn't know it was serious," Teigen told E! News at the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue celebration in New York this week.

In his interview with E! News, West said "Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé"—echoing a similar argument he made when he interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. His Grammys antics drew shocked reactions and laughs from audience members, including Bey herself and husband Jay Z

"So when I actually found out it was serious, ‘I was like, 'Oh no!' Teigen said. "I had no idea. I just thought it was like a little, I almost thought it was a sketch or something and I thought it was funny."

West talked about the incident again in an interview on the radio show On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Thursday, attempting to clarify his remarks further and saying that "Beck is one the most respected artists and respects artistry."

"I felt like just the whole Grammys, right when that happened, everybody was looking at me and then people started screaming, "Kanye! Kanye! Go do it!" OK, that didn't really happen, these were voices in my head," West added.

The hip-hop star had attended the ceremony with wife Kim Kardashian, who posted on her Instagram page a selfie with Teigen and Legend, saying, "This is the Beck won that award face?!?!?!"

"Kim was there…listen, I appreciate anyone that can like spice things up and we adore Beck," Teigen said.

"Honestly, I go to the Grammys to have a good time and I go to be entertained and I go to see like, [a] wild spectacle and I go to support John," she added.

Legend had also weighed in on West's move at the Grammys, saying that "most of the room, including me, saw this as funny, as a way of taking the piss out of himself for his infamous behavior several years ago." He later clarified his remarks after watching the E! interview, saying that he disagreed with West's post-show comments.

The couples are longtime friends. They attended Kimye's wedding, where Legend performed his hit ballad "All of Me," and West went to their's. They hung out at the Grammys (pictured above) and also recently went on a double date at a Waffle House with West and wife Kim Kardashian following a pre-2015 Super Bowl bash.

In her chat with E! News, Teigen also addressed another mishap that occurred on Grammys night—she and her husband got locked out of their hotel room.

In true Chrissy Teigen fashion, the supermodel, who is known for her hilarious selfies and tweets, posted a photo of her and Legend in a hallway, looking pretty amused.

"These are real problems, people," Teigen joked to E! News. "Real problems."

Find out her theory as to how that might have happened watching the interview. (Note: The issue she is talking about remains under dispute by experts.)
