If a memo was sent out, Taylor Swift would approve of it.

At the premiere of the new mystery thriller film Gone Girl at the 52nd New York Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall in New York City on Friday, co-producer Reese Witherspoon and cast members Emily Ratajkowski and Casey Wilson all wore stunning red outfits.

Witherspoon rocked a sleeveless, V-strap mid-length dress with a pencil skirt, while Ratajkowski, who plays Andie Fitzgerald in the film and is also known as one of the topless models in Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" music video, wore a red, off-the shoulder gown with a sweetheart neckline.

Wilson, who plays Noelle Hawthorne in the film and is also known for her new role in NBC's Marry Me and past part on Happy Endings, sported a bright red V-neck mid-calf Osklen sheath dress at the event.

Red was one of the most popular gown colors at the 2014 Emmy Awards as well.

In Gone Girl, Affleck and Pike play a married couple who run into relationship problems. She disappears one day and he becomes the prime suspect (watch a sneak peek video of one of the scenes, plus a trailer). David Fincher, who helmed The Social Network and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo remake, is the director and Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who worked with him on the latter films, provide the soundtrack for Gone Girl. The movie is set for release on Oct. 3.

Witherspoon has been producing films for years and has starred in most of her company's projects but not in Gone Girl. She recently told Fox News Sunday that Tina Fey's Bossypants book had inspired her to want to help other women in HollywoodGone Girl is based on a novel by Gillian Flynn.

At the premiere, Affleck had some words for fellow Oscar winner George Clooney, ahead of his wedding in Italy to Amal Alamuddin. Watch his interview below.
