Hilary Duff took to Twitter on Tuesday to share a sweet shot of her nearly 2-year-old son, who celebrates his second birthday on March 20, enjoying a little playtime at home, where things appear to have gotten a little messy (but aren't they more fun that way?!).
"Morning war paint," the 26-year-old singer captioned the precious pic of her little boy, who is covered in paint and even has his name Luca spelled out across his chest.
Little Luca seems like he doesn't have a care in the world as he poses for the camera (after all, mom has to clean up the mess) and appears to be looking through a few books, proving the soon-to-be 2-year-old is growing up much too fast!
This isn't the first time the proud mama has shared a glimpse of her son's creative side with her loyal followers on the social media site. She previously posted an Instagram collage, which she captioned, "Luca the makeup artist," which shows the singer getting a makeover courtesy of her little man.
And if that's not enough to kill you with cuteness, Duff recently shared a photo of her son, in which you can see how much her little one has grown. She captioned the pic, "Heart melts," adding, "Mikey gets photo cred for this one ;)," referring to her ex Mike Comrie.
The singer-actress and former NHL hockey player announced in January that they were splitting after three years of marriage, but they have maintained an incredibly amicable relationship for their son, most recently enjoying a "modern family" vacation.
Only two days until the big 0-2! Can't wait to see how this sweet modern family will celebrate.
