As easy, breezy as the 2014 Sports Illustrated cover might appear, a lot of work went into nailing that perfect pose. Sure, Chrissy Teigen, Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge are all naturally gorgeous but they also have learned a few tricks for modeling those itty-bitty bikinis.

"Always [pose] at an angle," John Legend's wife shared at a Beach Bunny swimwear shoot. "If you're taking personal photos, keep the camera like this," she mimes a selfie by lifting her hands above her head. "And shoot it down, chin down."

As for non-selfie snap shots, Beach Bunny swimwear model Irina Shayk says practice makes perfect: "Go in front of the mirror," she suggests, adding you got to keep things loose: "Play with your hair…you have to feel like you're kind of dancing."

Agdal likes to stick to her signature pose: "[I] take the hip out to one side," she says. "I think it looks good!"

Then there are times when you need to get a little cheeky—which was definitely the case for this year's SI cover! "You have to know which leg to put up front to make your butt look pretty," shares Irina. While Chrissy ads: "Pop it. If you don't have it, pop it harder."

Wise words.
