Not so, says a source close to the hunky Twilight star.
According to the insider, R.Pattz has been telling pals that he's not in the running to play the highly anticipated film's main character. Interestingly enough, it seems as though the Twilight heartthrob wasn't entirely turned off by the idea of playing Mr. Grey.
"Of course it would have been something he wouldn't mind doing, but he was never gunning for the role in the first place," the source explained.
Really? Well, that aside, it looks like there were two major obstacles getting in the way of seeing Rob in the film: his schedule and his salary.
Reports claim that Hunnam, who just backed out of the film last weekend, was going to be paid $125,000 for the controversial role.
