The leggy Victoria's Secret model has long impressed us with her gorgeous features, sun-kissed skin and toned, taut bod with curves in all of the right places.
So imagine our surprise when the Brazilian bombshell recently revealed that she has insecurities aout her physique, just like the rest of us.
That's right, according the New York Magazine, Ambrosio opened up about this very issue during a glamorous press junket to kick off the famous Pirelli calendar shoot, featuring the world's most stunning women.
"I never really did a nude shoot," she explained. "I'm not comfortable doing them, so I always had a G-string, or I cover my boobs so it looks like I'm nude."
Who would have thought!
Even with a truly flawless figure, the top model modestly differentiated herself from the other glamazons including Alex Wek, Karolina Kurkova, Helena Christensen, Miranda Kerr and Isabeli Fontana, all in attendance, with that one statement.
Endearing, no?
As for how she preps herself for a big shoot showing a lot of skin, Ambrosio says she focuses on getting that perfect glow.
"I lay out in the sun, just for a few minutes," she quipped.
And don't think she deprives herself of food indulgences when she's off duty, either.
She openly admits that strawberry shortcake is her favorite treat.
