Lea Michele is speaking out about the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith on July 13.

The Glee star took to Twitter to say, "Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart."

She attached a photo of the couple hugging on a beach, both looking happily in love.

Just days after the tragic news was announced that Cory had passed, Lea's reps made a statement to E! News about the actress's whereabouts and emotional state.

"Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she's received from family, friends, and fans," reps for the star said.

"Since Cory's passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them. They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together. We continue to ask the media to respect the privacy of Lea and Cory's family."

Her camp also asked that "everyone kindly respect Lea's privacy during this devastating time."

Cory was found dead at age 31 in his hotel room at the Fairview Pacific Hotel in Vancouver. After missing his checkout time, he was found alone in his room on the 21st floor.

Cory checked in July 6 and according to police, he was not staying with his girlfriend. Michele was last spotted in Mexico on July 9th.

After conducting an autopsy a week after his passing, the BC Coroners Service announced Tuesday that Cory died of mixed drug toxicity, a toxicology screening showing heroin and alcohol in his system.

"This was an overdose and a tragic accident," Vancouver Police Department spokesman Brian Montague said at a press conference following the release of the autopsy results.

Coroners Service spokeswoman Barb McClintock stated that the investigation into his death is ongoing and no further information will be released until its conclusion.

On July 25, cast and crewmembers of the hit Fox show held a private memorial for the actor.

"Today, Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele gathered the cast, crew and producers of Glee, along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith," Fox said in a statement to E! News. "We thank the public for their continued outpouring of love and support as we grieve our friend and colleague during this difficult time."

Murphy told E! News last week that he was allowing Michele to take the lead on how to proceed with the show.

Production of season five will begin Aug 5, a week later than originally planned.
