One glance at Selena Gomez these days, and it's hard not to notice that the former Disney star has suddenly blossomed into a stunning young woman.

Justin Bieber's former flame has been heating things up on and off the red carpets as of late, and we have to hand it to her—revenge never looked so stylish!

Whether she's posing for sexy photoshoots or promoting her racy new film Spring Breakers, the brunette beauty has been pulling out all the stops, flaunting her figure in subtly sexy looks that evoke tasteful elegance while baring some skin.

We tapped her stylist of the last five years, Basia Richard, who typically dresses the 20-year-old in Gucci, Versace, Reem Acra, Dolce & Gabbana and Blumarine, for further insight into Gomez's fashion evolution.

"We didn't force anything, this was just natural progression," Richard tells E! exclusively. "She is doing a more adult movie, but she is still staying true to herself. She definitely evolved into this beautiful, sophisticated little actress."

Aside from her gorgeous good looks and penchant for designer clothes, Gomez also brings a considerable amount of confidence to every red carpet she steps out on.

"She owns what she wears and she really does trust my opinion and what I have in mind for her," she explains. "I show her my favorite picks, which many times are her favorite picks as well."

As for Gomez's upcoming music tour, Richard reveals that they will experiment with an edgier look, never before seen on the star.

Their motto: Keep it simple, comfortable and fun.

We like the sound of that!
