Kristen Wiig is coming aboard Anchorman: The Legend Continues! Director Adam McKay announced on Twitter Monday that the Bridesmaids star would be joining Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell and Dave Koechner for the highly anticipated sequel.
Applegate, who plays Ferrell's love interest in the flick, tweeted about the news.
"So excited Kristen Wiig has joined our cast for anchorman2," she wrote. "Going 2 b best movie ever made. Besides the best movies ever made."
Ron Burgundy and all his friends and foes will be back on the big screen Dec. 20, 2013.
Until then, we will remain in a glass case of emotion.
