This week in politics: The final debate between President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney came and went with nary a meme in sight (horses and bayonets didn't quite catch on in the same way binders of women did). But who won? Well, depends who you ask, of course.

So why not ask Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell? If the X Factor judges can weed through thousands of auditions to find America's next superstar, surely they can pick a winner from only two candidates.

Brit, who's long been assumed to be a member of the Grand Old Party, tweeted this afternoon, "@BarackObama You have swag! :)" along to the above mash-up of X auditions and last night's debate set to country music.

Lindsay Lohan, Tweet

Well, that was more or less inconclusive, as both White House contenders got ripped apart by the judges, only to be tossed a compliment or two at the end. So why don't we check in with a different tweet-happy celeb, Lindsay Lohan?

"Nice work to both @BarackObama and @mittromney... " LiLo (who previously went on the record as Team Romney) wrote following a live tweeting of the debate. "i'm so relieved that its over. Maybe more than both of you..severe anxiety-God Bless xo L"

Hear that people?! The impending election is weighing more on Linds than on either of the two people, you know, actually up for election. That is political dedication. But still, she didn't even side with her beloved Mittens. So how do we decide on a winner?!

With a radio-friendly anthem, of course. Isn't that how we settle all tough issues these days? And look no further than Far East Movement (of "Like a G6" fame), who just released "For All," a tune inspired by Obama's campaign.

"We wanted to create an anthem around the inspirational ideals that people around the world are entitled to, no matter your race, religion, sexual preference, political or social views," the band said.

And that's a sweeter sound that political extremists each trying to yell louder than one another. We just wish it had been a new Britney song released for the occasion. But maybe she's saving hers for the inauguration.
