Oh, and he arrived solo.
His trip to L.A. comes just days after the R&B singer was caught making out with former girlfriend Rihanna at a Manhattan nightclub. The notorious ex-couple was later spotted hitting up a Jay-Z concert together in Brooklyn on Wednesday night.
Then, on Thursday, Brown announced he had broken up with his model girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, telling E! News, "I love Karrueche very much, but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I'd rather be single, allowing us to both be happy in our lives."
Tran subsequently shared her thoughts on the split via Twitter.
"Wtf is going on?" she tweeted on Friday morning. "All I'm saying is.. You don't mess with people's genuine feelings. You just don't!"
She later wrote, "Life moves on.. So let's all."
But wait, there's more.
Brown just released a video in which he shares his thoughts about caring for two women at once.
"I'm a little drunk so I'm going to be real honest," he say in the clip, which cuts between Brown talking in a car and shots of him with Rihanna and Tran. "When you share history with somebody, then you tend to fall in love with somebody else, it's kinda difficult. Is there such a thing as loving two people? I don't know. I don't know if that's possible, but for me, I feel like that...I don't want to hurt either-or. I'm not trying to be a player."
Meanwhile, Brown remains on probation for his infamous 2009 physical assault on Rihanna. Last week, a judge refused to revoke the singer's probation after he tested positive for marijuana.
