Dorinda Medley's time on The Real Housewives of New York City has come to an end.

After six seasons on the hit Bravo reality series, the 55-year-old star is saying goodbye. "What a journey this has been. I have laughed and cried and tried to Make it Nice," Dorinda wrote in an Instagram message to fans on Tuesday, Aug. 25. "But all things must come to an end. This was a great outlet for me to heal when my late husband Richard passed away."

Dorinda went on to note that she met "so many interesting people" and "learned so much about myself, about life and about women" during her Housewives journey. "Thank you to Bravo and NBC for the incredible ride and to my cast mates for constant stimulation and entertainment," she concluded. "I wish you all health, happiness and success. Clip!"

As fans may recall, Dorinda joined the Housewives cast in 2015 and became a beloved member of the franchise. Her exit comes just two months after castmate Tinsley Mortimer announced her departure from the show. This time last year, fan-favorite Bethenny Frankel shocked viewers when she too decided to leave the franchise for good

The Biggest Real Housewives Reunion Fights

While no further details have been given about her departure, Dorinda recently reunited with the cast of RHONY during a taping of their season 12 reunion, which took place with several safety precautions amid the coronavirus pandemic. "It was great!" host Andy Cohen told E! News in mid-August. "I mean, it was really odd on one level but it was also amazing to be doing an in person...and we were all six feet away, we weren't allowed to touch. But it was really, it was still really dramatic and it was just it was exciting."

Cohen also noted, "I've never been happier to put a suit on."

RHONY newbie Leah McSweeney also recently shared some reunion insight with E! News. "I'm just so grateful that Bravo and that Shed [Media], all the amazing crew and staff and Andy and everyone, every single person that was involved in getting it to be in person," Leah said. "When I tell you they were so careful and the amount of testing and protocols and masks and social distancing and this and that. It was a huge undertaking and they did it."

The Real Housewives of New York City airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
