Six days ago, Carey Mulligan stepped out and returned to the red carpet for the first time since giving birth, and now, the new mom has revealed the name of her daughter.
Welcome to the world, Evelyn!
The Suffragette star, who has been married to Mumford & Son's Marcus Mumford since 2012, shared her baby girl's moniker last night at the film's NYC premiere, where she also showed off her post-baby bod in a strapless black dress which she teamed with bright red lips.
"Carey has given birth to a healthy and happy baby," a source told E! News exclusively last week. "She is just enjoying this time with her family and close friends."
The notoriously private star's pregnancy was first revealed in June. Last week, during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show the 30-year-old actress shared that she and her musician husband welcomed a baby girl "three weeks ago."
Since giving birth, there's been no slowing down for Mulligan, who has been busy promoting Suffragette alongside co-star Meryl Streep (the film chronicles the British women's suffrage movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries).
"What I love about this film is it didn't feel like a documentary about a time; it felt like a film about today," she said during a press conference last week. "It is a film to mark the achievements of what these women did and what they gave us but also to highlight where we are in the world. We still live in a society that is sexist and that goes throughout history."
