Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow: 'Twas the end of 30 Rock tonight, one of TV's all-time greats, and rather than wax poetically about how much it will be missed, we're going to recommend you read this article that waxes poetically about 30 Rock's stellar series finale. As Tom Hanks once said, there's no crying in the Watercooler! (No, he didn't say that, but whatevs.)
The Vampire Diaries' Big Kill: Rest in peace, Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic), A Long, Long, Long Time Ago-2013. Your boyish good looks and devilish charms will be missed. Sadly, the CW hit decided to lessen its load of pretty people by having Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) made good on Elena's (Nina Dobrev) idea to solve all some of their problems by killing the Original vampire, ending Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) compulsion and bagging the younger Gilbert a whole lot of vampire deaths. (TVD mythology 101: Killing an Original wipes out their entire bloodline, remember?)
Scandal Shows Its Hand: No other show on TV right now is exciting us more than Shonda Rhimes' political drama, which has more than found its groove. In tonight's outing, we learned a whole lot: Hollis (Gregg Henry) didn't order the assassination attempt on Fitz (Tony Goldwyn)! Quinn's (Katie Lowes) dead ex-boyfriend was working for Hollis! Mellie (Bellamy Young) induced labor in order to keep Fitz from divorcing her! The OPA team learned that Olivia (Kerry Washington) helped rig the election. Oh, and our favorite hashtag of the TV season (#whoshotFitz) is officially back. Phew, did you get all that?
Burn of the Night: Kurt (Chris Colfer) calling Rachel (Lea Michele) a "slutty Barbie." Ouch, way harsh!
Line of the Night: "Not everyone of us looks like we're on the CW, some of us look like we're on PBS." Oh, Glee, how you slay! Speaking of Glee, anyone else getting excited over the fact that Santana (Naya Rivera) seemed to really, really like New York City? It was great to see a lot of the original gang together again...and great to see Chord Overstreet's many abs again. We missed you guys!
Battle of the Abs: Sorry, Overstreet, but you've got some major competition for Best Abs on Thursday Night. Your main competitor? Steven R. McQueen on The Vampire Diaries, who earned himself an eternal presence on Tumblr when he ripped his shirt open. (Baby Hulk!) Oh, Jeremy, how much you've grown! So who wins in this epic battle? Let's take it to the comments, shall we?!
Boom Goes the Dynamite: OK, seriously, we're starting to worry about Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) on The Office, thanks to the hotness that is boom mic operator Brian (Chris Diamantopoulos). Is Brian in love with Pam?! Sure seems like it. What are your thoughts on this possible love triangle? (We mean, not really, but...what the what?! We can't even process this right now, so let's move along.)
