Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Martin Scorsese's The Irishman and Marriage Story, directed by Noah Baumbach, are nominated for multiple awards.

The Marvelous Mrs. MaiselFleabag and Barry are the top TV comedy contenders. HBO limited series Chernobyl is also up for several awards.

Ricky Gervais returns as the ever-acerbic, no-holds-barred host of the annual event for the first time in four years, marking his fifth such stint in a decade.
