Ahead of his performance in Rio de Janiero with his band Hollywood Vampires, Johnny Depp and wife Amber Heard joined forces to do some good.

The couple, as well as bandmembers Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum, Bruce Witkin and Tommy Henriksen teamed up with the Starkey Hearing Foundation to distribute hearing aids to over 200 children and adults on Thursday.

The 52-year-old actor and his 29-year-old wife gave customized, free hearing aids to Brazilian patients in need, many who were finally able to hear clearly for the very first time in their lives.

In photos taken at the charity event, the Black Mass star and the 3 Days to Kill beauty, who wed in February of this year, can be seen carefully watching a doctor demonstrate how to place the device in a young girl's ear before Depp takes over as Amber holds her hand.

At one point, the blond beauty also became overcome with emotion and fought back tears while she held her arms around one of the hearing aid recipients.

Following the hearing aid fittings, recipients were transported to the Rock in Rio festival, where many were able to hear live music for the very first time.

The Starkey Hearing Foundation, which abides by the mission statement "So the World May Hear," fit more than 100,000 hearing aids annually to adults and children.

"As a member of the Clinton Global Initiative. We have pledged to fit more than 1 million hearing aids to people in need this decade," the nonprofit's website states.

Props to Johnny and Amber for lending their support to such a great cause!
