Buckle up and get ready to cry! (What, it's just me who will be crying? Fine then.)
It's an incredible year for Emmy nominations—meaning that hardly anything is a lock and there are some heated battles that will undoubtedly leave some passionate fan favorites glued to their loser seats. (Sure, the nomination in and of itself is a "win" blah, blah, blah. But nothing beats a WIN win.)
In case you missed it, here are my predictions for all the big races and you can see the reasoning why.
Below is my full list of predictions for the 2015 Emmys (most of the races), and as is tradition, we're gonna have a little competitive fun with this, you and me.
Want to put me to shame for the sham of a TV "expert" I am? Think you can predict more correct winners than I have listed below? Well, all you have to do is jot down your own list of predictions, snap a quick pic of it, and send it to me on Twitter—BEFORE the Emmy telecast starts on Sunday at 8 pm ET/ 5 pm PT.
If you beat me, you can win some swag from your favorite TV show. And more importantly, the bragging rights of a liiiiifeeeeeetiiimmmmmmeeee. (Or at least a good solid 30 seconds when you text your mom—who may or may not respond.)
Here are mine:
Drama: Game of Thrones
Comedy: Veep (note: I just changed this from Modern Family….And still feel like Transparent has a chance. Tough freaking race!)
Drama Actor: Jon Hamm
Drama Actress: Viola Davis
Comedy Actor: Jeffrey Tambor
Comedy Actress: Julia Louis Dreyfus
Supporting Actor in a Drama: Jonathan Banks
Supporting Actress in a Drama: Lena Headey
Supporting Actor in a Comedy: Titus Burgess
Supporting Actress in a Comedy: Allison Janney
Limited Series: American Horror Story
Reality Competition: The Amazing Race
Now all you have to do is write or type out your own list, snap a pic of it and tweet it to me @kristindsantos with #EEmmyChallenge. On Emmy night, right after the last winner is called, tweet me immediately with "I beat you! #EEmmyChallenge" and include your predictions pic list again. The first 3 people to do so will win swag from their favorite shows.
Happy Emmys! I'll be on E!'s live Emmy coverage starting at 5 pm ET/2 pm PT.
