Take note, chump parents at the 2013 Emmys who actually hired a babysitter.

Will Ferrell hit the stage to present the night's biggest awards—Best Comedy and Best Drama—and he wasn't alone. The funnyman was joined by his sons Magnus, 9, Mattias, 6, and Axel, 3.

"Stand right there," Will, who donned a black T-shirt and sandals, told his kids, who were all dressed in soccer uniforms. "Right on those marks."

"It is indeed an honor to be presenting the last two awards of the evening," he said before he turned to his kids again, "What? No. You cannot play Angry Birds right now, no. Just share the tablet. Fine. Take turns. Take 30 second turns."

Tina Fey seemed to enjoy the bit, as the camera panned to her laughing in the audience (sadly, she had ditched the 3-D glasses and popcorn from earlier). Mattias couldn't keep a straight face either.

"Unfortunately, Helen Mirren and Maggie Smith dropped out at the last second and they called me literally 45 minutes ago and I couldn't find childcare," Will joked. "We had a soccer game, a neighbor's birthday party, a nut allergy. I didn't have time to do my hair."

Ferrell presented the first award—which went to Modern Family—and then the camera cut back to him scolding his kids:

"You have to go to the bathroom?! I asked you backstage if you had to go to the bathroom," he said. "So you're just going to have to hold it. This is the Emmys. Don't blow this for me."

They may have done the opposite, Will. The Ferrell sons to host the 2014 Emmys? Anyone?
