Now this is what we call bang for your buck.
While most Super Bowl spots relied on dumping cars out of planes, slingshot babies and dogs on treadmills to capture the nation's million-dollar attention, Will Ferrell took another tact.
He once again partnered up with Old Milwaukee and appeared in an utterly scaled-down 30-second spot for the beer company. Missed it? Well, then you must not live in the only market in which the ad aired: North Platte, Neb.

There may not have been any Frank the Tank-style streaking going on last night, but there was certainly plenty of laughs.
That's because several funny folks came out on Sunday to honor Will Ferrell, who was presented with the 14th Annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in Washington, D.C. (A fitting place to be celebrated, obviously, considering his popular impression of President George W. Bush.)
So, who all was there, and what did they say and do to celebrate the man who makes us smile?

The few. The proud. The inordinately single. And the ever so slightly shameless.
We know that retreating isn't something Marines like to do, but, well, someone may need to call time on this incessant targeting propositioning of celebs for their respective ball dates.
And that person, apparently, is Scarlett Johansson.
Will Ferrell's Funniness Earns Him a Very Serious Honor

Frank the Tank now has a legitimate reason to chug a beer, strip down and go streaking!
That's because it's just been announced that the Kennedy Center will award Will Ferrell with the 14th Annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor on Oct. 23 in D.C.
"I am truly honored to receive this distinction," the funnyman behind such hit flicks as Old School, Anchorman and Talledega Nights, said in a statement. "I will now begin cultivating a Mark Twain-esque moustache in anticipation of the event."
Ferrell is certainly in good company. Tina Fey, Bill Cosby, George Carlin, Billy Crystal, Neil Simon, Steve Martin, Lorne Michaels, Lily Tomlin, Bob Newhart, Whoopi Goldberg, Carl Reiner, Jonathan Winters and Richard Pryor are all previous recipients.
