Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl) has quite the catch-22 on her hands. On the one hand, if she goes through with Derek's surgery, she may lose her memory and ability to work as a surgeon. On the other hand, if she doesn't have the surgery, she'll most likely die, which also means she won't be a surgeon anymore. Rough break.
These are what season finale cliffhangers are meant for, people! Izzie can't make her deadly decision, Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) are trying to find happiness and Matt Saracen (Zach Gilford) is begging Hunt to cut off his leg. Yeah, that's not a joke, but at least our favorite quarterback is on TV again.
