Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes insists reports of her being evicted from her home have been greatly exaggerated.

"I am truly blessed to enjoy a wonderful life and lifestyle," NeNe said in a statement released earlier today. "We have indeed moved to another home, but we did so on our own free will. We live in an absolutely beautiful home and we are fortunate to be able to live in the place of our choice."

Local reports out of Georgia earlier this week alleged the family was kicked to the curb because they owed $6,240 in past rent.

"Without wasting time on the details, the only thing I will say is that we were NOT evicted," NeNe said. "Everybody knows that I like to be honest, real and upfront. If something was wrong, I would tell you!"

Maybe it's time NeNe & Co. just ditch Atlanta altogether. She's told me on numerous occasions that she'd like to try and make it in Hollywood. She actually thought about making a move to the West Coast a couple of years ago, but her husband, Gregg, nixed the idea.

"He's a Southern boy," NeNe explained shortly after Atlanta Housewives debuted in October. "He's from Georgia. He's been here all of his life."

Even so, NeNe said, "I'll get myself a place in Hollywood."

Come on, NeNe—we're ready for ya!
