Sarah Palin can add George Clooney to the list of people who are actually looking forward to her reality show.

Just a couple of days after cracking on the former vice presidential hopeful's love of swag at the Publicists Guild Awards, Clooney weighed in on Palin's plans for television…

"Sure," G.C. said at the Oscars, when I asked if he'd be tuning into the Alaska-based series that Palin is creating with Mark Burnett. "I watch a lot of reality shows. I watched Steven Seagal…Where do you go from there?" (FYI: Steven Seagal: Lawman has been such a big hit for A&E, the cable network recently ordered a 16-episode second season.)

Clooney also told us he'll be directing his next flick after completing Alexander Payne's The Descendants, a family dramedy from Fox Searchlight.

"It's a musical," he said, before adding with a big smile, "about Sarah Palin."

He was joking. Although anything is possible with George Clooney.
