We're concerned about Leighton Meester. We've always loved her as Gossip Girl's resident queen bee, Blair Waldorf, which makes it difficult for us to accept her as a pop star. But we know how it works with these actresses: If it's not a record deal, it'll be a clothing line or jewelry designing or perfume. So if Leighton wants to sing, fine. (Plus "Somebody to Love" is cheeky fun.)

What concerns us, though, is Leighton's attempt at a sexy image makeover to go along with the pop career. There was the "Somebody to Love" music video where she looked like she was trying way too hard to bring the sexy. And this photo (left) from December's GQ is more uncomfortable than titillating.

She showed more poor decision-making skills at last night's American Eagle flagship store opening in New York City. The evidence:

Mariah Carey was out on the beach yesterday in Los Angeles, shooting a music video in a too-small bathing suit cut down to her navel, along with some serious bling. You know, just normal Mariah beachwear...video shoot or no video shoot.

The photo agency's caption explains the situation like so: "the Precious pop star oozed glamour." We're not sure if that's exactly what she's oozing—maybe it's more like desperation—but for the sake of the magical creature that is Mariah, we'll stick with glamour.

Dina Lohan got punched in the face when she tried to get Lindsay into rehab last year—so why do we still feel sorry for LiLo?

Because the revelation is just part of another audio recording released by daddy dearest Michael Lohan to Radar Online as part of his so-called concern for his daughter's life.

"You don't even know what I'd go through trying to get her into, like, rehab and stuff," Dina is heard telling Michael over the phone in a conversation dated September 2008. "She'd like, punch me in the face, kick me out of the car...like you don't know the (expletive) I went through trying to get her an intervention by myself.  It was very difficult."

Well, look who it is! Lady Gaga accepting her Stylemaker Award at the 13th annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards. Is she wearing something crazy?

Yes, of course.

But really, what else do we expect from Gaga? A Marc Jacobs outfit with the underwear on the outside, an Erickson Beamon lace headpiece, an Afro wig, all that covered in white powder and topped off with a creepy hand pose—it's just part of the never-ending Gaga experience.

It's all gone so far past the point of "OMG, look at her! What a unique snowflake this commercial pop artist is..." to just plain normal. Maybe that's what she wants, though? That way when we're least expecting it, she'll pop up in jeans and a T-shirt and seriously shock us all so bad the whole world will just stop.

In the meantime, we'll get more Gaga as she's now a M.A.C spokeslady. Cannot escape the Gaga.

The past year or so of Lady Gaga dressing up like a self-important performance artist is finally paying off. The "Poker Face" singer is being given a fashion award.

Marc Jacobs will honor Lady Gaga Monday night with the Stylemaker Award at the 13th annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards. That's right, she's officially an Accessories Stylemaker.

Congratulations!

One day she might even be a regular fashion stylemaker, but hopefully not because then she might start thinking she’s influencing the world more than she actually is.

Yes, of course, AnnaLynne McCord, thigh-high boots and gold lamé leggings are the perfect thing to wear for a gas-pumping paparazzi show.

And yet it appears the starlet's personality is just as layered as her top half—T-shirt, scarf, leather jacket. The adorable little Mini Cooper and comforting chocolate milk do a lot to soften the skank boot edge. So which is she: a bad girl, a good girl or way more complicated than we're trying to pigeonhole her?

Who knows? What is most unfortunate is the way the oversize sunglasses are hiding our favorite part of the 90210 starlet: the crazy eyes. Sure, she looks a little a nutty in this photo, but we really need the eyes to drive home the point that this is AnnaLynne McCrazy.

We've been seeing Lindsay Lohan drag her 15-year-old sister, Ali, around to various late-night events, and yeah, we do think it's a little strange and probably not a good idea.

Well, turns out we're wrong. According to Lindsay, Ali can handle it.

"She's tougher than I am," Linds told Life & Style. "She has a good head on her shoulders. Maybe it was different for me because I didn't know what to expect and it just happened really fast. I didn't have a big sister."

It's too bad there was no one there to give Lindsay lessons on how to party responsibly, pass along awesome hand-me-downs or share practical skin care tips, otherwise things might have been a lot different. As such, Ali's going to be a much better partyer.

Already, Ali's got one thing going for her because she knows when to call it a night and do her homework...

Before he was allegedly stuffing his 6-year-old in a box, hiding him in the attic and then calling the police to say the boy just floated off in a giant balloon, reality-show dreamer Richard Heene was just a normal guy trying to make a kids show about his apparent love of boxes. (That's what normal guys do, right?)

"Box Time" was shot in 2000 and produced by My You Me Productions (hey! that's how you pronounce his wife Mayumi's name!). In the show, a hyperactive Richard teaches kids how to make cool things out of boxes with the help of a primitively animated box named Boxter who makes bad box jokes. 

Did you know animated boxes often suffer from fits of creepy laughter? Well, they do, and it's worth watching the 30-second clip above to experience such a strange sight, which is only made stranger when you realize Richard is actually the one voicing that floating box.

Now that Richard's all famous, maybe this will get picked up and we will learn new box tricks, like how to build a shield to save us from lizard people or something.

Pamela Anderson showed up to the Hollywood Style Awards Sunday to present an award to photographer David LaChapelle in typical trashy gear but with one extra accessory that got everyone talking:

A solemn 9-year-old girl carrying her train.

Yesterday Page Six kept the story going, publishing an item about Pam's "fashion slave." After Pam presented the award, she allegedly "shouted 'daughter' in front of the whole auditorium, and slapped her leg like she was calling a puppy. The girl rushed up to grab her train."

Being known for her erratic behavior, we didn't think Pam would even respond. But while showing her ass on a runway is one thing, Pam apparently felt the need to say something about the child slavery charges...

Speedy's disco stick is no longer Lady Gaga's for the riding.

The mono-monikered entrepreneur broke up with his hitmaker girlfriend of three months Wednesday after a photo of her snogging another fella made it into the U.K.'s Sun tabloid, a source close to the ex-couple exclusively tells E! News.

The ill-advised makeout session occurred at the restaurant Balans in London's Soho district, where Gaga trotted her 20-person entourage following her man-straddling gig at Brixton Academy.

"He was so disappointed, but he's not into cheaters," our source said of Speedy. "It was hard enough for them to be in a long-distance relationship, but then this came out and it was over for him."
