Martha Stewart's beloved canine companion Paw Paw, whose full name was Kublai Khan Paw Paw Chow Chow Chow, passed away over the weekend at 12 years of age after suffering from renal failure.
The 60-pound Paw Paw, so deemed because of his ginormous mitts, appeared in several TV commercials and national print ads alongside Stewart, and was also frequently featured in her magazine and on her daily show.
"I am very heart-broken," Stewart wrote in a posting to her blog. "Paw Paw was a spectacular chow and an even more spectacular dog."
